Today the generation Z accounts for the largest number of people joining the workforce next to the millennial generation. Another fact is that people going into retirement over sixty has also gone downs. This is a workforce with a lot of diversity and that presents the HR with a challenge. The upper level management in many organizations still remains in the control of baby boomers, as much as this category has adopted mobile technology, there still remains a deficient in skills like typing. The generation Z also stands out, they are well connected and have gift from their parents of being keen with mentorship.
This is the generation that is eager to learn and understand what is going on around them. To make them fit in the workplace its advisable to bring in a mentor from the millennial or generation X. They do well at the workplace and will bring in the knowledge that you wish you had some time back. Generation X is set aside from their can-do attitude that enables them to do well in what they put their mind to. Generation X is known to be an early adopter of technology despite the fact that they did not grow around it. Millennial are not easily understood by other generations in the workplace especially on the metrics of work, with freedom and mobility they will outdo other generations fast and read more now.
