How to Travel with the Kids

You also need to carry along a few gifts. These shall be useful for rewarding their good behavior. You cannot forget their toys and games, for when they get bored. Keep praising them for good behavior, to reinforce it.
You can deal with germs by having wet wipes, anti-bacterial hand sanitizers, and other solutions. Traveling presents many germs to the kids, most of them new. In case of vaccination, do them sometime before the travel date. This gives you ample time to address any reactions while still at home. You do not want to travel with a child not feeling well. You also need to keep them from putting things in their mouths.
You need to bring plenty of snacks for all of you. Avoid packing the messy kind. You need to pack the clean and crispy type, as well as candy to counter the pressure from flight. You should also take some, for the sake of the pressure.
You will discover more joy in the journey when your spouse helps out. Approach the duty of keeping the kids calm and happy as a team. You can share out their duties amongst yourselves. When feeding time comes, you can do it together. If the kids are responding to one of you, the other could take a break, you can switch roles later.
You then need to prepare for dealing with anything that goes wrong. Kids may end up losing toys, breaking things, losing tempers, and other occurrences. You need to be the adult and remain calm. Remember that you will soon be at the destination.
